Drug grant approved
A request to accept $75,725 in federal grant money to pay the salaries of officers in the Levy County Multi-Jurisdictional Task Force 19 was approved by the Levy County Board of Commissioners at its meeting on Tuesday.
Levy County Sheriff's Maj. Evan Sullivan said the money distributed by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement will not cover all the salaries but he said it helped county taxpayers to get the money from Washington, D.C.
