The Levy County Commission did a little housekeeping on the proposed 2010-2011 budget in a special meeting on Monday and then approved the $58,531,978 spending plan.
Property owners will not have their millage — 7.4212 mills — raised, nor will county employees be receiving a raise in pay. But the commission will be absorbing the cost of an 11.8 percent increase in the employees' health insurance for the workers and their families.
