Cookin' up good deeds

 Lisa Beach and Ben Lott have sent checks totaling $12,500 to two non-profit organizations on behalf of Drummond Community Bank. One check for $9,000 went to the Prostate Cancer Foundation in Santa Monica, Calif.,  and another for $3,500 went to Haven Hospice of the Tri-Counties. The money for the cancer foundation represents the proceeds of sales of the bank's cookbooks "Community Cooking," which are still available for sale at the bank for $11 each.
