Community volunteers tackle library bathroom

   Edward Michaels, facilitator for the A.F. Knotts Friends of the Library Bathroom Project, headed up a team to demolish the former library lavatories in order to upgrade to a handicapped-accessible unisex restroom meeting all state and local codes.
   The bathroom remodeling crew were, from left, Larry Cohan, Michaels, Tommy Sholes, Yankeetown Councilman Chris Fineout, Jean Holbrook, and Yankeetown Councilman Norm Shannahan. The project is funded by the Friends and the Yankeetown-Inglis Woman's Club.
