Southern Rock’s Finest booked for Cooter Festival
Legendary Lynyrd Skynyrd drummer and Rock ‘N Roll Hall of Fame Inductee Artimus Pyle has assembled a troupe of Southern Rock Superstars and former members of super 1970’s bands such as Pure Prairie League, The Outlaws, The Allman Brothers and The Marshall Tucker Band that will perform free on Friday at the Cooterfest Kick-off Party (downtown) and will be on stage again at Wallace Brooks Park on Saturday and Sunday. VIP Tickets are available for the Friday Night Bash for $50, which includes food, beer, wine, tea and a designated seating area.
Also performing are: an energetic new band Not Hollywood from Warner Robins, Ga.; Cajun and Zydeco Music by Lee Wilkeson, son of Skynyrd bassist Leon Wilkeson, Mitch Simmons and Cajun Dave Becknel from Neon Leon's Zydeco Steakhouse.
