Dunnellon Community Thrift Store open
The Community Thrift Shop has opened a new store at 11871 Illinois Ave., in the old Sertoma Club building behind the Route 41 Dry Cleaner across from Dunnellon Printing on Illinois Avenue.
Thrift Shop hours are now 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mon. through Sat.
In addition to providing a place to donate gently used clothing, household and decorative items, it gives the community a place to shop for low cost necessities.
Operated by a volunteer organization, the Thrift Shop has over the years given back to the community between $12,000 and $15,000 annually.
