Chiefland Middle School recently held its Science Fair. Students in grades 6-8 were encouraged to participate by following the steps of the Scientific Method and displaying their results. Over 30 participants entered a project created in small groups or as individuals. 7th graders Elena Richardson and Kimberly Rudin placed first with their project titled, “Rolling Stone.” They investigated whether mass affects speed on rolling stones.
