No one objected in a public workshop Monday to City of Chiefland staff applying for about $900,000 in federal grant money aimed at helping a proposed hospital get water and sewer.
“I think everyone is excited about this project,” Chiefland Mayor Teal Pomeroy said of the Tri-County Hospital. “We’ve sent off the letter, and we’re very hopeful, very excited.”
