City’s 100 years to be coined
To celebrate 100 years as a city, the Chiefland Centennial Committee plans to mint silver and bronze coins.
City commissioners voted unanimously Monday night to approve a request from the committee to borrow money from the city’s industrial fund, about $10,000, to pay for the coins.
