Joppa Baptist homecoming
Joppa Baptist Church is holding a homecoming celebration on June 5 at 11 a.m.  Pastor Steve King from First Baptist of  Coleman is guest speaker.  Joppa Baptist Church was established in 1896 and will be celebrating their 115th year. The homecoming theme is a western theme so come dressed for the West.  There will be dinner on the grounds following the service.  A special invitation is being extended to all previous pastors and their families.

Joppa enrolls Vacation Bible School
Joppa Baptist Church is enrolling for Vacation Bible School that runs Sunday, June 12, through Friday June 17, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.  Dinner will be served each night.  Friday night will be Family night recapping the week's events.  Classes are available for ages 4 through adult.  This year's theme is "Gold Rush-Discovering the Rock of Ages."  There will be arts  and crafts, music, Bible lessons and more.
