 "His Extravagant Love" at Lighthouse Word
   Lighthouse Word Church invites the community to a special Easter program, “His Extravagant Love,” on Sunday, April 24, at 10:30 a.m.  This is an Easter presentation with music, dance, narration and the Easter message.  
   Refreshments will be served before the service.  
   Lighthouse Word has a Children’s Church and a nursery starting at 10:30 a.m.        

Easter sunrise service at First UMC
   The Chiefland Ministerial Association is presenting a Community Sunrise Service at First United Methodist Church, on Easter, April 24, at 6:45 a.m. The church is at 707 N. Main St. , Chiefland. The service will be held on the big steps behind the church facing 1st Street, one block east of Main Street. Bring a comfortable lawn chair and plan to stay for a free breakfast following the service.  For further details, call the church office at 493-4627.

Change of Easter schedule at Peace Lutheran
   Peace Lutheran Church at 7201 South Highway 41, just 5 miles north of Dunnellon, is celebrating the season of Lent that leads to Easter.
   Wednesday evening services are at 7 after a potluck meal at 6.
The Maundy Thursday service on April 21, and the Good Friday service on April 22, is at 7 p.m.
There will be only one Easter Sunday worship service, at 8 a.m. Easter breakfast follows at 9:30 a.m. with an Easter Egg Hunt for the children.

Easter egg hunt at Old Town UMC
   The annual Easter Program for all children will be held 10 a.m.-noon Saturday, April 23, at the Old Town Methodist Church. Bill Richardson will provide the story time surrounding the resurrection of Jesus.    
   The egg hunt will be followed by lunch. Each child will need a basket to hold the eggs collected.  For more information, call 352-542-7697.

Christian Fellowship
celebrates Easter

   Christian Fellowship Community Church of Bell, located beside the bus garage on State Road 129, is having an Easter egg hunt Saturday, April 23, 1-3 p.m. There will be activities for all ages including crafts and face painting.
