 n  Mt. Erie Baptist pastor honored

The Mt. Erie Baptist Church will be honoring Pastor Lewis and Gail King for seventeen years of dedicated service to our church and community. The public is invited to join the congregation in honoring the couple. Services will be held on Oct. 15 and 16 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, Oct. 17, at the St. James A.M. E. Church in Chiefland. n  Fields of Faith celebration.

Congregations from Chiefland and surrounding areas will be at the football field at Chiefland High School on Wednesday,

Oct. 13, at 7 p.m., for a combined praise and worship service. Everyone is welcome.

n  Chiefland UMC spaghetti dinner

The Chiefland First United Methodist Church, 707 North Main Street, is serving a spaghetti dinner on Friday Oct. 22,  from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m.  Suggested minimum donation is $8 (kids 10 and under free).  Take-outs are available.  The menu includes spaghetti, garlic bread, salad, dessert and beverage.

 

n  Infusion

Lighthouse Word Church would like to invite members of the community to attend Infusion on Saturday, Oct. 16, at 7:30 p.m.  Infusion is a service hosted by 20 and 30-year-old members of the church and features drama, music, testimony and ministry.  For more information, call 493-1554.
