Bronson UMC holds yard sale
The AE Circle of the Bronson United Methodist Church will sponsor a yard sale on Saturday, Sept. 25, from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. inside the recreation hall. Look for signs. Proceeds will benefit the church, which is remodeling a kitchen.
Church screening "To Save a Life"
The public is invited to attend a screening of “To Save a Life” on Saturday, Sept. 25 at 6 p.m. at the North Chiefland Church of God. This Christian movie deals with many issues that teenagers face, growing up in today’s world.
Admission is Free. Snacks will be served during a short intermission. Everyone is welcome.

Old Town Methodist Women's yard, bake sale
Old Town Methodist Women will hold their annual "Yard and Bake Sale" on Friday Oct. 1, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on Saturday Oct. 2,from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. There will be nice clothing, books and knick knacks, collectable dolls and more. The bake table will be filled with homemade pies, cakes and cookies.
The Methodist Men will serve a brunch and lunch of hamburgers and hot dogs with all the trimmings.
First Christian Church holds yard sale
First Christian Church of Chiefland will hold a yard sale to benefit the Children's Christmas fund on Oct. 9 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 6591 N.W. 140th St. (County Road 346), 2.5 miles north of Chiefland across from Deke's restaurant. For more information, please call 490-7650.
Good Shepherd hosts 2nd Annual Oktoberfest
Good Shepherd Lutheran Church will hold its 2nd Annual Oktoberfest on Sunday Oct. 3. Come and join us for worship, Gemutlichkeit, music, good food, fun, and fellowship.
Church service will be at 10:30 a.m. and lunch will be served from noon to 2 p.m. We will have brats, hotdogs, sauerkraut, potato salad, desserts and much more. Everyone is invited to attend. Donations appreciated.
