National Day of

Prayer events

 The Levy County National Day of Prayer event will be held at the Levy County Courthouse at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 6,  at  the flag pole. This is the time to pray for the nation, state, county, cities and towns. 

  Bring your lawn chairs and umbrellas.

   The Chiefland National Day of Prayer event, hosted by the Chiefland Ministerial Association, will be held on Thursday, May 6, at the flag pole in front of Chiefland City Hall at noon to pray. Local civic leaders and the public are invited to attend and participate.

   Americans are being asked to set aside this day to pray specifically for the nation, the President, the national, state and local leaders,  law enforcement, military troops and for a moral re-awakening in America.

Pine Grove hosts Herron Music Ministry

   Pine Grove Baptist Church is presenting Herron Music Ministry.  Nathan Herron and wife Lindsay will be in concert at Pine Grove Baptist Church, 16655 N.W.  County Road 339, Trenton. on Sunday, May 2, at 6 p.m.

Mother’s Day service

at Lighthouse

   Mothers are invited to enjoy a special treat at Lighthouse Word Church on Sunday, May 9th at 10:30 am.  There will be a special message and a free gift for each mom.  We will also be offering framed family pictures from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. for a donation of $5.00.  For more information, call 493-1554.

Youth event at

skateboard park

   A special combined youth  group event with music, mimes, drama teams, games, prizes, snacks, skits, videos and  more will be held Thursday, May 6 at 6 p.m. at Delma Locke Skateboard Park behind Chiefland High School.

   All  area  youth groups  are  invited. Youth pastors are asked to let Gene Barnett know if you are planning on bringing your group so we can be prepared with enough activities and snacks. Also, let him know if your drama team or singers want to participate in the praise and worship section of the night.
