We know that high school football might be on the backburner as far as sports headlines go now, but it's time for Chiefland Indian fans to assemble and honor the accomplishments of the 2007 teams.
The football/cheerleading banquet will be held at 7 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 25, at the Tommy Usher Pineland Center.
More importantly, the deadline to purchase tickets is this coming Monday, Feb. 18.
The cost is just $10 for a choice of steak or chicken dinner. It will include baked potato, salad, roll, dessert and beverage.The meals are being whipped up by the QB Club Grill Masters.
Football players and cheerleaders are free.
Tickets can be purchased at the front office at Chiefland High.
Chiefland varsity ha a turbnaround season in coach Ajay Ulmer?s first season as head coach. The Indians won four games and began to build that winning attitude. With many players returning, the 2008 season looms even more promising.
