Lighted from behind, a child sits on Santa's lap during a brief visit from the Christmas gift giver at Bronson's annual Christmas in the Park event, which lasted about three hours Friday evening and drew dozens of families from the area. Town staff and several town council members were in attendance at the event, braving the cold, helping to prepare and serve food and setting up the equipment used to project the movie "Arthur's Christmas" on a large screen set up outside.
