A perfect day and evening set the tone for the Greater Chiefland Chamber of Commerce Winter Festival and Christmas Parade.

Float winners are:

First place: Manatee Springs Assembly of God (manger scene). Co-First place: Central Florida Electric Cooperative (Peace, Love, Hope, Joy –the best gifts)

Second place: Chiefland Fire Department trucks. Co-Second place: United Sportsmen Airboat Alliance

Third Place: Bronson High School Marching Eagles

Chiefland Chamber of Commerce President Bob Williams said that judges David Nicholson, Rudy Rudolph, Norman Young and Jim Ferrer were asked to evaluate the floats on the following criteria: theme, creativity, and how well they represent Chiefland. The winning floats will be on display in the Depot Park through the Christmas season.
