A Chiefland woman has been arrested and charged with one count of arson after an investigation into a structure and vehicle fire on Monday at  Northeast 351 Highway, just north of Cross City, according to a Dixie County Sheriff's Office press release.

Letha Wright, 30, of Chiefland, has been booked into the Dixie County Jail. Her bond is $75,000.

After the Cross City fire department extinguished the fire, deputies learned that the two blazes were determined to be arson.  Property damage to the structure was minimal, however, the 2001 Dodge truck was a total loss.  Deputies learned that there had been a dispute between the homeowners and Wright.
