Chiefland wins over Dixie; to face Williston Friday

Chiefland boys beat rival Dixie County 67-65 Tuesday to advance to the semifinal round of the Class 3A District 5tournament. They'll play top seed Williston Friday at 7 p.m. in Chiefland. Newberry, winner in their early Tuesday matchup with Fort White, will play P.K. Yonge Friday at 5:30. The winners of Friday's games will meet Saturday at 7 p.m. in the tournament final.
