Torry F. "Big White" White, 45, of Chiefland, was arrested Dec. 12 on trafficking in Lortab and Oxycodone, by the Levy County Sheriff's Office Drug Task Force conducting undercover drug purchases.
Agents gave a confidential source $120 which was used to buy 25 pink pills from White, according to a Levy County Sheriff's Office press release.
The agents identified the pills as Lortab, a drug prescribed by physicians for pain management.
When White drove away from the site of the purchase on County Road 345, he was stopped at Northwest 55th Avenue, arrested and the $120 recovered.
The pills purchased in the transaction weighed 21.5 grams and Florida state law defines sales over 4.0 grams as trafficking.
White was additionally charged on two Levy County warrants for trafficking in Oxycodone during two other undercover drug buys.
White has two previous arrests, in 1999 and 2000,  on cocaine charges that were later dropped.
In 1999 "Big White" was arrested for five separate cocaine charges and in 2000 he was arrested on five counts of cocaine charges. Those charges were dropped.
