Chiefland girls bow out, look to next year

Chiefland girls made a great run at Newberry in their first round district tournament game, but were rebuffed at the end in a 57-36 elimination loss. Foul trouble was the Lady Indians' biggest problem; with power players Katelyn Allen and Madalyn McCray on the bench along with ballhandler Charlene Davis and defensive star Sharnese Rome, the Panthers were able to take their best shots.
