Chiefland Senior FFA Chapter had a state finalist this year. Sarah Edison, a sophomore, competed at the Florida State FFA State Convention this past June. She competed in the Agriscience Fair in the Botany category. Her project was “Tomatoes Don’t Lie, Your pH is High!” During her experiment she tested tomato plants to see what happens when they are grown in a soil with a higher pH than the recommended range.
