Heather Rucker and her ag students recently held their 5th annual petting zoo as part of National FFA Week. Chiefland Elementary school's kindergarten students took a walking field trip to participate in the program set up for them at the middle school's ag property.
"We do it for the kindergarteners. In two years I'll have the original group. Then I'll get to see if those kids are interested in ag and how many remember that day and what they went through and see if they've learned anything," Rucker said,
