The Greater Chiefland Area Chamber of Commerce is seeking volunteers to serve as ambassadors, according to an announcement by Chamber President Bob Williams and Ambassador Committee Chairman Dale Bowen.

Between two and six individuals will represent the Chamber as ambassadors to improve communication with current members and add value to being a member. The plan is to develop future leaders for the Chamber who understand the organization's mission and its value in the community.

Responsibilities include:

* Increasing members' attendance at luncheons and mixers so that members become more aware of Chamber activities.

* Attending Chamber events, and assist Executive Director Janet Minor and the Board of Directors with Chamber business.

* Give information to members about Chamber events and activities to encourage participation.

* Meet regularly with other Chamber ambassadors to plan and execute strategy as it assigned by the Board of Directors.

Anyone interested in volunteering to be an ambassador for the Greater Chiefland Area Chamber of Commerce is asked to call 493-1849.
