CFEC hosts hurricane planning meeting

   Central Florida Electric Cooperative recently hosted a hurricane planning meeting for emergency management personnel in the service area, including county sheriff’s offices, city police departments, local fire departments and emergency management offices and responders.
   More than 45 people attended the luncheon meeting from Dixie, Levy and Gilchrist Counties at the CFEC Operations Center on May 22, 2012, to coordinate names and phone numbers, learn about CFEC personnel to contact during an emergency and hear a presentation on safety after a storm.
