Apply by Dec. 9 for spring semester at CF
The College of Central Florida is now accepting applications for the spring 2014 semester, which begins Jan. 8. The deadline to apply is Monday, Dec. 9.
CF offers more than 60 certificate and degree programs, including bachelor’s degrees. A new specialization in Logistics and Supply Chain Management is now being offered in the Bachelor of Applied Science in Business and Organizational Management, and the college plans to offer a Bachelor of Science in Nursing beginning with the fall 2014 semester.
CF’s tuition and fees are 67 percent below the national average for public four-year institutions.

CF to honor graduates Dec. 13
The College of Central Florida will hold its fall 2013 commencement ceremony Friday, Dec. 13, at 7 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Ocala, 2801 S.E. Maricamp Road.
Florida Department of Education Commissioner Pam Stewart will deliver the commencement address. Stewart worked as an educator in Marion County for 25 years, serving as principal at both Reddick-Collier Elementary and Vanguard High.
CF Vice President of Institutional Advancement Joan Stearns, who retires in January after serving CF for more than 15 years, will receive the Distinguished Service Award.
