Carl “Honey Bear” Bryan, 68, of Horseshoe Beach died at his home Sunday, Jan. 8, 2012.
He was born in Lakeland Feb. 15, 1943. He retired from FMC FoodTech in Lakeland, as a supervisor after 39 years of service. He began a part-time residency in Horseshoe Beach 41 years ago and then moved there permanently from Auburndale in 2001. He was a Little League coach, a member of the Florida Deer Association, the NRA and secretary-treasurer for the National Wild Turkey Federation.
