CAAA Rookie All-Stars earn trip to State Tournament

The Chiefland Area Athletic Association's Rookie All-Star baseball team placed second in the Rookie State Qualifer held in Lake City June 9-11. They now the the privilege of representing the Chiefland area at the State of Florida Rookie Tournament in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., beginning June 28. The Rookie All-Star team will host a cake auction on Mon., June 25 at 7 p.m. at the Days Inn conference room in Chiefland to help raise funds to assist with travel expenses.
