A one-vehicle crash at the Northeast 120th Street and Northeast 30th Street, a right-turn only intersection, on Saturday at 11 p.m. claimed the life of Cacie-Leigh Morgan, 23, of Bronson, according to a Florida Highway Patrol report.

Morgan was not wearing her seatbelt when the 2007 Ford Focus she was driving eastbound on Northeast 30th Street went through a warning sign with reflectors, rumble strips and a stop sign despite her applying the brakes. The car went onto a grass shoulder on CR 103, collided with a warning sign and two fence posts, becoming airborne. It hit two other fence posts before landing, turning over and ejecting Morgan.

She was pronounced dead by Levy County Emergency Medical Service.

The accident is being investigated by FHP Cpl. W. Dill.
