Bronson varsity unplugs Hilliard

The Bronson varsity basketball team faced off against the Hilliard Flashes on Friday, Dec. 6. 

At the end of the first quarter the Eagles were up by 2. By the end of the second quarter the Eagles were up by 13. At the end of the third quarter the Eagles were up by 36. With an overall slam, the Eagles defeated the Flashes by 35. 

The team’s leading player for the night was No. 11 Jahleel Penny, with 18 points, 18 rebounds, 2 blocks and 2 steals. Running right along behind Penny were No. 1 DJ Harris and No. 33 Collin Clifford with 12 points each. Clifford had 8 rebounds and 2 blocks. Harris had 1 rebound, 3 steals and 7 assists.

The Eagles have a young but talented team. With a great win of 70-35, defeating the Hilliard Flashes, the season for the Bronson Varsity Eagles looks to have a bright future.
