Bronson FFA members attended the 83rd State FFA Convention in Orlando. Three of these members won state FFA proficiency awards that recognize FFA members for their achievements in individual Supervised Agricultural Experience programs. Hayden Grant won first place in Equine Science Entrepreneurship, Tyler Williams was first in Agricultural Communications and Natalie Miaoulis was first in Agricultural Sales. Natalie was also named as a State Star Finalist in Agricultural Placement for her outstanding SAE program working on her family’s neem farm in Abaco, Bahamas. Chapter member J.R. Trimm took first place honors in the Agricultural Entrepreneurship Award for starting his own business, Hometown Plants. All these FFA members will represent Bronson in these areas on the national level. Four Bronson FFA members also received the prestigious state FFA degree, the highest degree a state association can bestow. These members are: Hayden Bedford, Hayden Grant, Natalie Miaoulis and Katie Norris.
