Bronson seeks new fire chief

-A A +A
By Kellie Parkin

The Bronson Volunteer Fire and Rescue department is looking for a new chief after the resignation of Scott Bulson two weeks ago, said Councilman Jason Kennedy.

Bulson cited personal reasons, according to Kennedy. Until a new chief is named, the seven member department is being headed by interim chief Jacob Arnold, a  Bronson firefighter and first-responder.

Firefighters nominated two members to take the position as Chief, Dave Reinstra and Jeff DiMaggio. In the past, the decision has been made by a vote of the department with confirmation by the council.
