Beer at public festivals

Frankly I am not a supporter, in fact, I am against beer or any kind of alcoholic beverages served in public places. That's probably related with my childhood experience, my mom was addicted to alcohol, it took us years to get her convinced that she need treatment, she finally got it in a rehab New Jersey and she's a new person now. Alcohol should never be promoted in places where people are supposed to feel good.

Did for many years at the Yankeetown arts and crafts show and never had a problem but it must be controlled. We never served any people that showed signs of beimg drunk or over served. It should not be served like a bar does and only ment to drink along with dinner as we served it with fish dinners and always worked out well for usand made good profits for our lions club. Too many times I have seen over served people at bars getting more than they should have. It is up to owners to control and bartenders to maintain this policy.
