Beast Feast to benefit students Oct. 23

The Levy County Schools Foundation will be hosting its Annual Beast Feast Saturday, October 23 at the Black Prong Equestrian Center, SE County Road 337, in Bronson.  Dinner will be served at 5:30 pm.  Some of the foods being served may include venison, gator tail, mullet, sausage, turkey, swamp cabbage, boiled corn, grits, baked beans and desserts.
Come on out and enjoy an evening of food, fun and fellowship for a great cause: public education in Levy County. The evening will also include a live auction and  door prizes. Tickets are $25 per person and are available at all Capital City Bank, Drummond Community Bank, and Perkins State Bank branches.

Fundraiser to benefit Chiefland Elementary
Chiefland Elementary School is selling tickets to win a Rossi 12-gauge/.243 combo rifle. Funds raised will benefit several school programs, such as FCAT rewards and Teacher Appreciation Week.
Tickets cost $1 each, and are available at the school, Reed Automotive, or a Arnie's Sporting Goods. The gun is also on display at Arnie's Sporting Goods.
