Barbara Best

Barbara Glassmire Best, 80, died Jan. 1, 2012 at her home in Old Town.
She is survived by her husband, Alfred Best Sr.; her sons, Alfred Boyd Best Jr. of Gossel, Minn. and Chuck Best of Old Town; her daughters, Pam Lewis of Old Town and Barbara Brown of Deltona; 14 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; her brother, Theodore Glassmire of Orlando and her sister, Alease Wheaton of Geneva.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, Jan. 14 at 11 a.m. at The Lighthouse Word Faith Church in Chiefland.
