The Levy County Commission approved four fees landowners pay and is holding a public hearing on the fees - which remain the same as last year- at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 2.
The fees approved are:
_ $75 preliminary Emergency Medical Services Tax Assessment Rat
_ $25 assessment Solid Waste Assessment
_ A variable Roadway Maintenance Service Assessment, and
_ $31 Fire Protection Services fee.
Even though the rates will not be increased, they must be approved annually and a public hearing must be held, County Coordinator Fred Moody said.
