Annual Life Chain event Oct. 6

The annual Life Chain event, a peaceful, prayerful public witness standing as a visual  statement of solidarity by the Christian community in support of the sanctity  

of human life from the moment of conception to natural death, is Oct. 6 beginning at 2 p.m. 

   Signs are provided but participants are asked to bring water, umbrellas, hats and chairs. 

   The Life Chains will be at the following locations:

• Bronson — U.S. Highway 27A at Court Street in front of First Baptist Church of Bronson, from 1 to 2 p.m.;

The following Life Chains will be from 2-3 p.m.:

•Cedar Key — on State Road 24 and bridge;

• Chiefland — on U.S. Highway 19 and U.S. Highway 129;

On Sunday, Oct. 20 a Life Chain will be 2-3 p.m. in Otter Creek on SR 24 at Levy ARC. This date was chosen to bring attention to the traffic heading to and from the Cedar Key Seafood Festival.
