A festival and re-enactment celebrating the history of Alligator Warrior, who lead Seminole warriors in the 2nd Seminole War (1835-1842) and of the settlement of Alligator which was renamed Lake City in 1859 will be held Oct. 29-31. The festival is from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day at O'Leno State Park, 410 S.E. Oleno Park Road, High Springs.
