The Levy County Sheriff's Office is still looking for a Morriston man they say may be connected with the theft of an air conditioning unit from a Williston home Dec. 27.
Law enforcement say they believe Raymond Shiver Jr. was one of two suspects pictured in photos taken from a hidden game camera positioned near the A/C unit at the Williston home.  The photos show the unit being unhooked and loaded into the back of a Ford pickup truck.
According to a LCSO press release, a concerned citizen identified the truck as belonging to Raymond Shelton Shiver, who lives at 4350 S.E 138th Terrace in Morriston. When deputies drove to Shiver’s home Jan. 2, they arrested his son, Alexander Mathew Shiver, believing him to be one of the men in the photos.  Police say Alexander Shiver's older brother, Raymond Shiver Jr., is the other person in the photos.
Alexander Shiver was arrested in grand theft and was already on felony probation, according to the press release. Anyone with information on Raymond Shiver Jr.'s whereabouts is asked to contact the Levy County Sheriff's Office.
