22 teams signed up for State Tee Ball

-A A +A
By Claude Lewis

Teams from near and far will roll into Chiefland next week for the 10th annual State Tee-Ball Tournament.

The event will be played from June 12-16 at Strickland Park.

Chiefland Area Athletic Association president Wayne Weatherford said that a whopping 22 organizations have committed to coming.

That adds up to a lot of extra business for local restaurants, motels, supermarkets, convenience stores and other retailers.

We're sure kids and their families will be cooling off at Manatee and Fanning Springs during down time.
