2012 Watermelon Queen crowned

Anna Patterson, left, of Steinhatchee was crowned the 2012 Chiefland Watermelon Queen on Saturday by outgoing 2011 Queen Rachel Kee of Chiefland. Patterson, daughter of Libbi and Daniel Patterson, was chosen from among four contestants. She was sponsored by Sandy Oglesby of Mithch's Gold & Diamonds of Chiefland.
