The School Board of Levy County on Tuesday approved a revised calendar for the 2010-2011 school year that lengthens the school year by several days, yet adds a few perks for students and teachers.
The board discussed two potential calendars at Tuesday’s twice-monthly meeting, both of which contained various pros and cons.
The approved calendar for next year puts the final day of school at June 9, as opposed to June 3, which was presented as an alternative.
