13 Proves Lucky For CNA Course

    Thirteen students were recognized Nov. 29 by the College of Central Florida after completing the Certified Nurses Assistant program at the Levy Center.

Certificates of  Completion were received by Ashley Anderson, Crystal Butler, Chelsea Colson, Tammy Foster, Clayton Geer, Andrea Gillespie, Kelly Hulbert, Jeannette Linzi, Dwight Roberts, Kayla Roberts, Sabrina Seal, Wanda Sorenson and Beola Urdialez.

   Students are prepared to work in the health care field through the CNA program, which helps them pass the Florida Certified Nursing Assistant exam. The program consists of 80 hours of classroom and lab training as well as 40 hours of clinical experience, which was at the Ayers Health and rehabilitation Center in Trenton.

All classes, except clinical training, are in Chiefland at the CF Levy Center. A high school diploma or GED is not required. For more information, visit the Levy Center, call 352-493-9533 or go to www.cf.edu/department/levy/.
