The Chiefland Police Department reports the following arrests:

n  Larry Watkins Jr., 35, of Chiefland, was arrested on July 25 for battery by strangulation.

n  Willie J. Walton, 39, of Chiefland, was arrested on July 24 for writ of bodily attachment, cash purge of $350.

n  Isaac Earl Butler, 54, of Chiefland, was arrested on July 22 on a warrant.

n  Tommie lee hall, 42, of Chiefland, was arrested on July 24 for retail theft les than $300.

n  Daniel Keith Philmon, 45, of Old Town, was arrested on July 21 for grand theft--$300 or more.

n  Alan Floyd Fisher, 26, of Chiefland, was arrested on July 15 for unlawful possession of prescription drugs, fraud in obtaining prescriptions and possession of drug paraphernalia.

n  Walter Edwards Perkins, 45, of Old Town, was arrested on July 13 for retail theft less than $300.
